What glider/ottoman did you get?
We are undecided if we need one and what brand. It's a very small nursery
What are your thoughts on glider's ottomans? What did you get? Pictures would be awesome!

I wasn't keen on them until I actually sat in it in BRU and feel in love. In order to actually get one, we registered for a $200 glider/ottman set. We'll somebody already bought it!! Its just a natural wood finish with ivory padded seats. If we would have registered for a $400 we probably wouldn't have gotten it. In fact, this happened to two of my friends. When you register too high end for your guests, you won't get the items.

I disagree. I think it depends on your guests. Some people will go in on a gift together and buy a more expensive item. You never know how generous your guests will be. One of the first items purchased off my registry was our most expensive item (excluding the glider).
We sat in a bunch of gliders at BRU. The Shermag ones were pretty good, but they were kind of narrow. IMO, the Dutailier ones were by far the most comfortable gliders. They're $$$, but we registered for a glider and ottoman. I don't expect anyone to buy them for us (although my mom offered to buy them as a shower gift), but if they do, that's great. If not, we'll buy them ourselves.

We registered for a Dutalier set, too. I am especially picky about anything I sit in because I have a bad back. The Dutalier ones were the ONLY ones we considered.
Our set is $600  but as the OP said, we'll buy them ourselves if no one buys them for us.

We got the Dutailier Grand XL Chair Sleigh Style Glider in a honey color wood with a tan microfiber. We love it, however it is quite large. It retails with the ottoman for well over $800 with the ottoman, however we got the set off Craigslist for $180!!!

with DD#1 i was set on getting a Dutailier, but then my mother talked me into getting a Shermag instead. i'm petite and the Shermag is perfect for me. i'll use it again for DD#2 and then don't see much use for it so i'm glad i didn't shell out the extra cash...

Still debating on this vs repurposing an existing rocker/recliner from our living room. I just hate to have another peice of furniture, we have too much already.

I think this is the one we're getting. It has great reviews on the BRU website.
