Both my sister and I were C sections and my daughter was too. I've heard that if your mother has to give birth via Csection that you will also most likely give birth that way. At least, that's what my OB said.

I was born by emergency c-section. She has a vertical scar - not pretty.
My four younger siblings were born vaginally and two of them were without drugs.

My mom had an emergency c with me, and my younger brothers were both born via c- I don't think VBAC would have been an option.

My mom had a c/s planned for the next day, my sisters b-day, and I came out early.


she had my sister (older) and my brother (younger) both by planned c/s.

2 Vaginal (pretty sure she got drugs)

All our 1st borns were Forcep babies. My mom, my sister, my nephew & my daughter.

My mother had both my sister and I vaginally...back in the day when they knocked you out..

Vaginal, no drugs. Same with my sister, who was born 16 months before me.

I actually have a fun story-- I was born in the hospital elevator My mom took an ambulance to the hospital, so she was on the gurney on her way up to the L&D floor, and she said to my dad, grandma & paramedic "um, something's happening"...and there I was They don't even have an "official" time of birth b/c there was no clock, they had to make an educated guess.

And to this day, she's still disgruntled about having to pay the OB, since he didn't do much

Oh, and I had DD fairly quickly & easily, no epi (although I had demerol ), so I thank her for the good genes!

Both my brother and I were born naturally with no drugs...well almost. My brother's labor was 28 or 30 hours and my mom was so gung ho to go natural but in the last half hour they had to give her medsand use forceps. She was SO disappointed.

For me, it was a faster labor and no drugs.

Mom inspired me to try for no drugs and I made it pretty far but my labor was ridiculously long and it was suggested that if I wanted a vaginal birth I should take the epi. My mom actually told me to take it and said that as much as she thinks natural is great, she wished she had an epi choice with my bro.

my sister was vag - no drugs

I was vag - breech, 8 + lbs, turned inside with forceps - no drugs - only lamaze and my mom swears it was a piece of cake compared to my sister!
