who plans on getting one of these?
I wanted to get one for my car, and a few people said it might not be safe b/c it may attract crazies who either want to kidnap a child or see it and think you are more vulnerable to carjackings and such. Whenever I see one, I personally, drive a little safer. What do you think? Image Attachment(s):

I want one too..but people said the same thing to me...but i cant grasp that concept...i think to drive a little safer when i see it...i will be putting it in the window!!!

I hate those signs. I think they're really rather rude. what that sign says to me is 'look, we all know you're not normally a safe driver and you don't respect the lives of the people in other cars, but you should be extra cautious NOW becuase MY KID is in the car.

I had one on my car but it broke when i went to take it off and put on another car. DH has on his car still. I dont think those signs bring on the crazies.. they could see you have a car seat in your car without the sticker.

I see the good aspect of them in the way like the stickers on your childs bedroom window.. God forbid somethig terrible happens its alerts someone that there is a child in that car that will need help b/c they are buckled up who cant unbuckle themselves.

I don't like them either for many of the same reasons... I think they are kinda stupid.
People who are such bad drivers are not paying attention to a little yellow sign in your window anyway.

Wow, I never even thought about attracting crazy people with that sign. I don't take offense when seeing one of those signs and usually just try to drive extra careful.
I brought up whether to get one or not to DH the other day, but I doubt we will cause I generally don't like signs or any memorabilia in my car.

i do the same thing! i always make a snarky remark to DH when i see one.
i would never change the way i drove because i saw one of those on a car. and i can't stand the whole "the crazies will come out and steal your child" thing that people say will happen with the lawn signs, etc. if a guy is CRAZY he is CRAZY and will try to do what he's going to do with or without a sign! he doesn't need a sign to figure out who has a baby--the car seat, toys, and BABY will be enough of a clue!

I think they have a fun vintage quality, and I think its silly to worry that it attracts crazy people. I also think its silly to think that people will drive safer because of them, but it is a fun 80s throwback

I have one already and DC is not even here yet! I am more careful when I see those signs I def. keep more of a distance in stop and go traffic. my trucks windows are too dark noone would be able to see the carseat, but the sign is very visable
