Got my AFP results...
Man, am I so relieved... I was SO nervous for this test because of the false positives.
Everything came back within the normal range...
1 in 97,343 for downs
1 in greater than 250,000 for trisomy 18 and other neural tube defects, etc.
Those #'s sound pretty good to me!

Awesome news! I just gave blood today for the AFP testing. I will find out next week. I am only 15.5 weeks though....my doctor said go either 15 week or a few days before the appt. I hope I don't get a false positive because I went too early..we'll see.
