9 weeks old and dry skin

What can I use? Every night since birth I've used J&J night time lotion after bath but he has the worst dry skin on his knees, wrist, and neck.

Re: 9 weeks old and dry skin

Do you put it all over the body like lotion? Or just on the dry skin areas?

Re: 9 weeks old and dry skin

Kailey had it from birth and the ped said not to use anything, just let it run it's coarse, lotion can make it worse. So we did not put anything on it and it did just go away.

He didn't have it at birth, it started about a week ago.

Re: 9 weeks old and dry skin

We initially used J&J but it didn't help so we switched to Aveeno (lotion and body wash/shampoo) and it has helped a lot.
