I wish they wouldn't get another board. We already have SO MANY boards, people get frustrated when their posts get moved...
Not to mention every topic could have a sub-board- selling gold, 90210, fall shows...

There is no separate board for TV shows which 90% of the threads are usually on.
Lets not 'hide' the most important thing in our country going on right now so that people can bury their heads in the sand and pretend it’s not happening.
TV, which I don’t watch and I think is completely unimportant, is allowed to stay on the "main" board, I would hope politics, with a HISTORIC election coming up, would get some attention rather than being buried.
Just my 2 cents!

this is exactly how I feel, I watch very little TV & I'm trying to convince DH to get rid of our cable access altogether. I feel like American TV is dumbing us down. The rest of the world is getting ahead while we're watching 'reality tv' and playing video games.

But it would get a lot fewer views and responses. Many people wouldn't go seeking out a politics board, but when the subjects are there on NFR, it brings the issues to everyone's attention and more people respond.

right - so that proves my point
if you had your own board, the political intellectuals can debate all the issues, easily, and talk about the election ad nauseum, with consolidated information all in one spot. You wouldn't have to be bothered by the TV threads at all.

But what about those who aren't "the political intellectuals" who wouldn't be seeking out the election talk? I think that this is something worthy of being brought to the attention of everyone on LIF.
Lets face it, if it had its own board, there would be fewer views and fewer responses.
