probably not. Although DH has mentioned it for this year since we will be in a new house and he has no desire to decorate the whole thing alone

I'm on DH's case to rent a cherry picker so we can decorate a large/tall evergreen in our front yard with multi-color C-9 lights.

No. We light the bushes and have a few lit things on the lawn. I'm too cheap to even keep them on all night... no way I am paying someone to put them up.

I had someone from www.christmasdecor.net give a quote but DH said it was too much but he won't put them up

Ooohh...I'm glad you posted this!!! We may in fact hire someone to do it...depending on their quote! (Turns out the franchise by me is owned by a tree service company and they already own cherry pickers!  )

It would be worth it to me not to have to fight w/ the lights, attach them, reattach them - then they're not working, then OH wait, they are working - then one bulb goes out, then the fuse blows .........Oh God, just thnking about it aggravates me !!
