Commack- police and helicopter??
Anyone know what's going on in Commack on Jericho... at Mavis I believe.. or the car wash right there?? There are cops, yellow tape, lots of people and a helicopter circling above.... there was also a cop sitting in his car right when you turn left off Ruth Blvd by Emilio's (at the dead end which is behind the Mavis and car wash)...
anyone know?  
ETA I dont have news 12 anymore! Stupid fios!!

I just heard back from him and he said he isn't sure but he heard it was a robbery or attempted robbery at the car wash.

UMM WHAT?!!!
my FIL and husband own that car wash.
and my husband has been with me the whole week at kessler with kenneth --- now, he finally went home tonight for work tomorrow and it is funny b/c he JUST called me saying "weird, my parents aren't home - when are they ever out??"

thanks, i just called vin and he was like "WHAT?!! how did YOU hear about this and i have no clue?"
so, i told him to call his parents on the cell -- and if not, try his sister. they prob aren't thinking to call vin since he has been here the past week and they were not sure what day he was due home.
oh god i hope it wasn't at gunpoint.

the police station said it was robbed -- they won't say with or without a weapon - they said they don't know. i hate to say it but one would think there'd have to be a weapon involved - how do you rob someone face to face with nothing?
