I am so glad to hear he is doing better.
IMHO, HIRE A LAWYER! What these doctors did to your family is not right! I pray for a quick recovery!Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

Honestly, I work in med mal, it is too soon to hire a lawyer and they shouldn't really have to unless there is permanent damage. I hope it does not come to that.

Agreed. TIAs are impossible to predict- especially considering he was on blood thinners (which is one preventable measure).

I am so glad your DH is feeling better and showing improvement. As terrifying as TIAs are- my understanding is that usually there is little to no permanant damage.

I didn't see this until just now. Wow Laura...that's really scary! I had been wondering about you and DH.

I'm glad that he is feeling better and will be discharged soon. I also hope that they will have some more info/answers as to why this happened.

Keep us posted...

Re: Hi Ladies....Update on DH

I am so sorry to read this as I myself had a ministroke During brain surgery in 1997. It is great to hear that your DH is starting to get better already. Thant is a good sign. I am doing fine since then with just a few left over effects from the stroke. I did have to go through rehabilitation as an out patient to get there but it is so worth it.

I will keep you & your DH in my Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

Re: Hi Ladies....Update on DH

O my goodness, I'm way late, but Laura this must've been so scary! I remember the original post but OMG Chat Icon I also thought he was having an allergic reaction... My hubby's so much like yours too, absolutely REFUSES to go to drs/hospitals, I know he would've reacted the SAME way.

I really hope the worst has passed now and he's on to a speedy recovery!!! Chat Icon
