Granite edge?
What edge do you have on your granite?
We picked our granite this weekend and need to let them know what edge we want by today. The granite guy recommended the 1/4" bevel... we like that one and the bullnose.

I think when we get our countertop we may get the full bull nose. it looked like the ones that have a harder edge may be easier to crack or chip over time? That was just my observation...but I don't have it yet so I would not know for sure.

So do we. The one thing I hate about it is that when I wipe crumbs from the counter they get stuck in the little dip and I have to wipe from the dip area also. I love how it looks but for ease I'd go with s/t a little simpler like the bullnose or round edge.

Oh wow I never would have thought of that. We're not considering the ogee edges anyway. It's mainly between the bullnose, bevel and round.

We will be getting the OGEE 1
Only thing with getting the round bull edge is that if something gets spilled the liquid will run down the face of the cabinet

We have the 1/4 Bevel. We thought it was the best option. If something spills off the counter it doesn't go running down into your cabinets/drawers like the rounded edge would.
So what color granite did you pick Jess! Can't wait to see your kitchen done, it's going to look great!

This is the edge we're most likely going to go with. I love it!
We went with the Verde Peacock granite. I'm going to take some new pics of the kitchen tonight so i'll take a pic with the sample piece of granite too.

We have full bullnose. I have small kids so I thought it would be most kid friendly esp on the edge of our island.
