DS is 2 years old and I can not even count the number of times for him.

DS is 15 mos (almost) and he has been on antibiotics 4 times. He had chronic ear and lung infections for 6 mos straight.
I hated giving them to him. I actually fought with the Dr about it, but he really needed them.
He has been off antibiotics since April!

2X in 16 months, I know how you feel though I really don't like the idea of so much medicatin so early on.

My son suffered from chronic ear infections and was on antibiotics almost every month, somtimes lasting an entire month if the first dose didn't work, from 5 mos. until he was almost 2. Now that's a lot. I was in tears. But hey, he's alive.

I don't think its that bad. My DD had RSV at 2 weeks and the ped warned us she would be really sick the first year or so with lots of infections as a result. She ended up only needing them 2x after the RSV so I consider us lucky- once for an ear infection and once for bronchitis. I refused them a couple of times when other peds(not her own) wrote me scripts for them.

My  is 4 and 1 time. He had an ear infection and strep just before his 4th b-day.
is 2 and NEVER.

DD is 34 months old.
She has been on antibiotics 2X, with her 2 most recent asthma attacks, this past winter.

Eldest Daughter is 14...to many times than I care to remember between infancy and 4 years old..since then NEVER.
Twins are 9...1x each...ear infections..
DS will be a year next week..1x for an ear infection.
Stepdaughters are 10 & 5...since Ive known them..to many times than I can remember..

DD is 3 & she's only once had an antibiotic. We both got thursh at 2 or 3 months old from breastfeeding & we both were put on Nystatin.

DS is 11 mos and was on antibiotics once for four days and he didn't even need it! - b/c my ped was away and the idiot we saw - "thought" he had an ear infection   Which, he did not

DS is 12 months and he has been on antibiotics 4 times!
didnt realize that was so much until reading all the other posts...WOW!
he has had 3 ear infections and 1 upper respiratory infection
