American at Olympics stabbed to death
BEIJING, China (CNN) -- A Chinese attacker stabbed two Americans, killing the man and wounding the woman, who were attending the Olympic Games on Saturday, according to the U.S. Olympic Committee.

DH's first cousin is competing in the Olympic Games and her entire immediate family is in China...that is so scary.

DH's first cousin is competing in the Olympic Games and her entire immediate family is in China...that is so scary.
I am sure they will tighten security even more now.
what event is she competing in?

The man that was killed was a relative of the US Volleyball coach. The article said that attacks on tourist are not common and that Beijing is one of the safest large cities for tourists.
