i have my phone set not to receive private numbers. they are forced to dial *82 before they call our house but if it is my cell i dont pick it up i wait for a voicemail and call back

i usually do because you never know where that phone call maybe coming from(learned the hard way once) but now i have this one person who i do not care for having my number anymore and they refuse to stop calling but i am not going to change my number for one person. so now if it comes up private i will wait for a message to be left.
ets: they have now started using the *67 (or what ever it is) to block their number in thinking i will pick it up. after the first 2 times it came up as blocked i picked it up(hey you never know) and now i do not only thinking this person will be on the other line

No. We screen those calls. The answering machine is in the living room, where we are most of the time, so it's easy to hear the machine.

mostly, because I know it's either a friend of mine or my parents Very rarely are telemarker calls private. They come up as anonymous. Our number is private too, so I guess most people don't pick up for me either!

Absoluely not.. My messages even states "I am no accepting any private calls at this time. If you are calling from a blocked number please hang up hit *82 and redial my number. Then your call will be accepted" I hate private calls.

Nope, but I never answer the phone Unless its my Mom or my DH.. other than that I'll call you back if I get to it.... there is usually too much noise with my kids in the background to have a conversation wiht anyone

Rarely. I don't know anyone who normally calls from a blocked number so I assume it's a call I'm not interested in taking. If it's someone important they leave a message & I call back.
