The same thing happened to me I think that I implanted late. Right now, my baby is 5 days behind where it should be, but the doc said it wasn't anything to be concerned about. Good luck!!!

Stay positive! At my first sono, I had to go back b/c it was still too tiny to measure. I went back 4 days later and it was amazing how much bigger it was!

Don't lose hope yet! my u/s at 5w2d showed only the gestational sac. Because I was being monitored by the RE, they had me come back 2 days later and there was the yolk sac. We didn't see the fetal pole until 6 weeks along with the heartbeat.
My sister also had the same thing happen, it turned out she did ovulate later than she thought and we are getting ready to celebrate my nephews 1st birthday!
