I hate snakes!!!!!!!!!!
I saw one in my bushes the other day and now I am scared to go near the bushes on that side of my house...Please tell me to get over it!!!!

Are you in NY? If so then don't be scared of them! They are probably just garter snakes and they don't bite!

All snakes bite - we had them around our home and my bro decided to pick one up and it bit him and he dropped it and it slithered away. It was more a prick he said - like a toothpick poking the skin, but I've read all it eats are insects and that such of stuff.

They will bite in self defense, but are not poisonous or anything.
They are more scared of you!

I live in Blue Point...It totally creeped me out and now everytime I go outside, I find myself looking for them!

Thanks Paige! I hate snakes with a passion and I knew I would eventually see one living next to woods! But, you think Stella would keep them away!

Oh lord. We're going to be looking out East (more rural areas) and this is something I never even thought about 
Do you remember the scene in Ferris Bueller's Day Off when Jennifer Gray (sp?) realizes there's someone in their house and she freaks out and runs up the stairs screaming, lol....this is how I would have reacted
