tons of pics....my head is spinning, been so busy
weaning, hospital stay, vacation, houseguests, jury duty. I am forcing myself to just stay in today with josh and have a veg out day.
animal kingdom w/ MIL(a whole other story in itself.)
  
a much needed cool down
 
payback for inviting his mom. josh loved it though and roared at him for the rest of the day
so animal kindgom was WONDERFUL. He totally got it. Animals, characters, shows. He even left his 3-D glasses on for bug's life. Really fun day. He got so into it....on the tram in the parking lot, it drove him crazy that we weren't pointing and taking pics of birds in the lot while we were heading back to our car
Then, the next day....SeaWorld. Nightmare. Way too hot that day. He flipped out anytime we walked by water, he wanted to go swimming and could not understand why were were being mean. No fear of the animals at all...he just wanted to swim with them. After being there 3 hours, a FL storm came, leaving us stranded for 1.5 hours under the stingray building. Finally, we made a run for the car.
then we went to a really good zoo
 
then we spent time at the beach.
the pic that ended the WAR. he swore he wasn't throwing him up high, I flipped everytime. Yelling and dragging josh out of the water. finally, got a pic...needless to say will never happen again, but this is the nut who I am suppose to trust my kid with.
 
then we arrived home to find that my cousin and baby where arriving the next day.
cousin and babies at Waxhaw 4th parade(which was a real down home parade, tons of wounded hometown heros. very, very alarming. young guys, really young....  )
 
perfect parade for josh. cars, trucks, train...all his favorite words

please. I felt like I had 2 kids on this "vacation"
Leo is all for never vacationing without Josh. no way...next time he is going to see granny.
My parents are coming in August, we are leaving for 2 nights to go on a camping biking trip. I have no idea if I even like camping or mountain biking, but I don't care. The thought of not being a mom for 2 days has me so excited.

Wow!!! What a whirlwind!!! Looks like a fun trip. I hope MIL wasn't too bad. Your 2 nights away sounds magical. I wonder if I'll ever get a night away. I'm jealous. Josh is as adorable as ever. And you look terrific. I love the family shots.

Janice- I LOVE these pics!!! Josh is just adorable- I love his little bowl haircut.
I have to say- I was like  when I saw how HIGH your husband was tossing him. PLEASE tell me that he admitted he was even a little bit overdoing it?
Its so obvious the love you both have for each other and that little boy. Thank you so much for sharing those pics!!!
