Is the Melting Pot kid-friendly?
I've been there before, but before I had DD. Do they have highchairs?

I would say no. I would be worried about my kids trying to touch the hot surface on the table and grabbing the skewer things. I am not sure that they have high chairs.

ITA. We were there a few weeks ago and I don't recall seeing high chairs. I'd be nervous of them touching the surface as well.

Also.. Ive been there twice and both times it is like a 2-3 hour event. I would be worried about keeping a little one occupied.

I agree. It's a long time to have a child sit.

No, I don't think it's a kid friendly restaurant, however there always seem to be plenty of kids there when we've been which boggles my mind but oh well.

Re: Is the Melting Pot kid-friendly?
I brought my kids there in Fl, and they loved it. It was fine. I have a 4 yr old boy and a baby. In Fl they had very private booths where we could put the highchair. If you have a two yr old who you can't keep away from a hot plate then I would say no, but otherwise, what's the big deal?

Re: Is the Melting Pot kid-friendly?
Before I went the first time, I called to make sure they had high chairs, and they said they did. However, I ended up not bringing DS. While I was there, there were plenty of kids, even in strollers, and it was a Saturday night! However, like someone said, it is a 2-3 hour meal and my son would NEVER sit still that long.

That is one place I would save for date night. I bring my DD just about everywhere with us but I wouldn't bring her there.

I would say no! I went with DS a few weeks ago and it was hard for him. You are there a looooong time.
