1 Hour Glucose Test
I failed!  I'm so upset. The girl in the office said my level was very very high! She made it seem like I wouldn't pass my 3 hour test! I'm so upset. Did anyone fail the 1 hour and have high levels and pass the 3 hour?
With DS#1 I failed 1 hour and passed 3 hour.
With DS#2 I passed 1 hour but was anemic.
I'm so nervous. Is it very bad to have ges. diabetes. How do they treat you?

I just failed the 1 hr. test and I never had any probs with my glucose before being pregnant. My # was crazy high......238!!! They didn't even send me for the 3hr. test. The day after I got my results I went to the endocrinologist and was put on a special diet and I have to test my glucose 4X/day. They said once the baby is born the gestational diabetes goes away but for the next 12 weeks I just have to watch what I eat to make sure I keep my numbers under control.

Yes, I had a score of 185 on the one hour, which is extremely high, and passed the 3 hour. One of my levels was still high on the 3-hour, but I do not have GD, dr just suggested to keep an eye on my diet.

mine was 185 too. Maybe I'll pass 3 hour. Did you fast for the 3 hour?

Yes, I did. I probably fasted a little too long, I did not eat after 4pm. I think you have a good chance of passing the 3-hour. Plus, I still believe the 1-hour is not accurate, it is only a screening and I know more who failed than passed.
