this wont work for everyone- but I am up by woodbury commons every other weekend
and I go to Super Wal-Mart - you can't beat the prices
and I shop at trader joe's- they might not have sales- but they have great food and great prices

I use coupons as much as I can (Waldbaums- doubles your coupons for anything under $1), and I pay attention to whats on sale in the circular and stock up whenever possible.

I buy generic a lot ....some things I prefer the name brand, like Heinz ketchup or Scott toilet paper...but other than that, I buy the store brand and use my coupons and price card.
