yup, sometimes i decide not to answer because i am afraid that by saying what i REALLY think, i will cause unnecessary drama. most of the time someone else says what i am thinking anyway

Sometimes it's b/c I think my opinion will offend someone else, or b/c I can't think of a tactful way to type something .........Most of the time it's b/c the post I was hoping to reply to got pushed to another page while I was working and I feel lame to bump it - It's kind of OVER at that point !!

I bite my tongue (fingers?) repeatedly on a lot of posts involving the law (and am doing so now on at least 2 different threads in fact).
I can't give out legal advice over the Internet (due to ethical and employment obligations), and it kills me to see bad or incorrect advice being given. If I feel I can, I will often say that the OP or whoever should do more research... but sometimes I can't even do that.
Personally, there are times I refrain from posting due to privacy concerns. I'm a very private person and my and my family's privace matter a LOT to me.
I'd never refrain only b/c I think my opinion will be unpopular. I have better things to worry about than my opinion being well-received by strangers on the Internet.

I sometimes respond-- type up my whole thing, then decide not to post it.
Don't know why-- sometimes I guess it's just better to be a fly on the wall, so to speak.

I ALWAYS see posts that I would respond to, but like I have said in the past, there are a few people on here who like to cause "drama" and whenever someone posts something they don't agree with, they are complete b!tches about it.

i do this all the time, i find myself reading alot of interesting posts and i would like to respond but feel as sometimes its better that i dont because
1. I'll get flamed for my opinions.
2. divulge waaaay to much info on myself.(especially since i try to keep myself slighty anonymous)
3. the topic is too heated already and most ppl probably said what i was going to say anyways.
its great to read some of the debates or random things ppl on hear post about, if i have something to say that'll help someone sure other than that i try to keep to myself most of the time.
