Do you feel like answering some posts but decide not to?
Like for example, you like the topic and would like to respond to the OP but all the answer posts are contrary to what you would post or maybe it would divulgue too much personal information about DH, your personal beliefs (religious or not), etc..?

Nah, I don't worry too much about what I post. I don't necessarily go into great detail about our personal lives, but I'm also not overly concerned about it. I would never post my last name or the name of the school I work in, my address or things like that, but other than that, eh, I'm pretty laid back.

i do this all the time, i find myself reading alot of interesting posts and i would like to respond but feel as sometimes its better that i dont because
1. I'll get flamed for my opinions.
2. divulge waaaay to much info on myself.(especially since i try to keep myself slighty anonymous)
3. the topic is too heated already and most ppl probably said what i was going to say anyways.
its great to read some of the debates or random things ppl on hear post about, if i have something to say that'll help someone sure other than that i try to keep to myself most of the time.

yes... but depends on the post.
sometimes it's because someone else already said what i would say.
sometimes i just don't have the time and i'm just doing a quick glance at posts
sometimes, particularly if it's a more "political" or opinionated post and i have a very differing opinion, i don't post. i find that there are some on LIF that flame you for having a very different opinion or they just keep coming at you to defend your opinion, even though no one else is making them defend theirs. it's very annoying to have to "defend" yourself while everyone else gets to say what they want and their posts are left at that.

A-MEN. I wish I could just post and not explain myself for three hours - sometimes I just don't feel like it but I want to get my opinion out there since I am always in the minority I would like others who share my opinion to know that they are not alone.
Also, I don't want people to start thinking that I am just posting the opposite of the "norm" to get attention but I am usually so opposite from everyone else!

ALL THE TIME! I type out whole responses and then don't post. Mostly because it reveals to much personal info, but also because I never know how what I am saying will come across or too controversial.
