If a scheduled delivery is late...?
can I ask for the delivery fee to be returned?
I'm waiting for an a/c to come from PC Richards. The delivery time was supposed to be between 12-4.
It's not like I have a doctor's appointment to go to or anything, but I'd like to run some errands before dinner, and I took the day off of work to be home. So I'm a little annoyed.
What would you do?

I would call and make a big stink out of it. Tell them you had to cancel an appt or something!

I just called but was too nice. I did say I have to leave at 5 to pick up my son (which is true). They were like "lots of deliveries today". Um, ok, and how does that make it ok to be so late. They're still not here.

HOW OBNOXIOUS!!!! You tell them your friend's husband went to Ft Salonga Elementary school with Patty Richard and you want your AC now!!!  And that you know where Pete Richard's house is and you'll go TP it if you don't get your AC ASAP!!

Huge Pet Peeve of mine. Not just PC Richards. They usually show up 2 hours after the latest hour they are supposed to show up. Then start the delivery/set-up

I would call and make a stink, maybe you can get the delivery charge waived. That is why they give such a broad time span to begin with - don't let them get away with it
