I start getting ready to leave about 30 min before. Then when my boss sees that my desk is clean, he asks if I'm done and sends me home around a quarter too.

Depends, but usually I am rocking at the work and have to tear myself away, so I take about 1 minute to shut down and get outta here.

I've always worked beyond my expected time to leave...sometimes hours beyond (without getting paid), regardless of the job or pay.

Most days I work up until it's time to leave and stay later if something is going on or I want to finish what I'm working on.
ditto! today we were given the green light to go at 3 and start our long weekend early- I was there til 4 anyway

When I worked I was OUT THE F*CKING DOOR at the exact moment the day ended. I am not a career person and could not wait to get to the "me" time of the day.

My boss likes to call and ask for something at 4:58 to see if you have your sh*t together......
I always have the answer , then I say see you tomorrow.........

My hours are 9:30 to 6. I work until 6, and sometimes after.
Ditto, I never leave exactly on time - unless I have something planned.
