Anyone TTC while trying to drop a few pounds?
I want to try to drop about 5 pounds. I know it may sound silly since I'll gain it right back but I want to try to have a flat tummy for the 4 wk pregnancy picture. Plus I heard that if your stomach muscles are stronger, you are less prone to having stretch marks.
I was wondering if anyone else is trying to drop some weight.
Does it hurt your chances of TTC if you are losing weight?

I'm actually going to try to lose some weight then TTC.
I don't think it hurts ur chances at all...but who knows, i could be totally wrong!

It does not hurt your chances. I lost a bunch of weight during my last IVF cycle.

I am trying to lose some weight while TTC. My doctor said that losing weight can help your chances of TTC.

i have been doing WW since Janurary and have lost 12 pounds so far. I figure if I am eating well now and exercising now, I will do the same when I eventually get pregnant. I heard you can't start anything new once you're pregnant.

I am trying to lose these 4 lbs that crept up on me when I wasn't looking... I eat well, it's the exercise that sometimes doesn't always stay on the rotation.. But, how can exercise be bad? I am not training for a triathalon here.

I'm also doing WW. I've lost 6 pounds. I would ideally like to lose 15 lbs, but 10 would make me happy.
Unfortunately the hersheys bar i just inhaled probably isnt helping 
Good luck with dieting and TTC.

Same here. I joined recently b/c I don't know how long this is going to take, and I want to get as much weight off as I can before I get PG.

Many girls take pictures of their bellies throughout the duration of their pregnancy. At 4 weeks, you aren't showing yet so it should be the same as your pre-pregnancy belly. I want a flat tummy for my 4 week pregnancy picture.
I've also been told by my doctors that having stronger ab muscles will lessen stretch marks and your belly won't be AS large.
I'm worrying about post-pregnancy weight gain already, even though we aren't TTC yet.

I am eating MUCH healthier since we started TTC and I have lost about 7lbs just from that. I think you are fine
