Water Question

Many people are concerned about their drinking water. Do Starbucks and 7-11 purify their water before making coffee with it? Or what about Snapple, Vitamin Water, etc.?

Just a random thought... I was thinking about it while I got coffee this morning, lol.

Anyone know?

Re: Water Question

I'm not sure about 7-11, but starbucks and all pre-packaged drinks use purified water.

(for starbucks, I'm fairly certain that there's a filter in the water line to the coffee makers...)

Re: Water Question

I think that when the water heats up, when they make coffee...it purfies it
Im not sure if it would have to be brought to a boil or the temp that the coffee cooks at is ok

But that won't get rid of lead, chlorine, arsenic, particulates, etc., just bacteria.

I have no idea if they filter/purify their water....

Re: Water Question

Hmmm, its interesting. I would prob say 7-11 doesn't.

I think things like vitamin water and snapple, might, but then again, when something that actually has purified water, its listed in the ingredients i think?
