Please settle this fight dh and I got into
He's sending out thank yous from his 30th bday I threw him.
In his thank you should he write thank you for the (gift)...
or thank you for coming to my party. Hope you had fun
This was a stupid fight. But I know I'm right.

I like to say something personal about the gift too.
So pretend they got him beer mugs (or whatever)... My thank you would say something like:
Thank you so much for coming to the party. I hope you have a great time. I can't wait to toast to you with those great mugs!

that's what I'm saying. He has to thank them for the gift. He's not even thanking them for the gift-- he is just saying thank you for coming out and celebrating my 30th. i hope you had a good time.
