How 34 Week Appointment Went!

So, my vitals and everything were fine. I only gained 2 pounds in 2 weeks which makes me very happy! That brings my total weight gain to 36 pounds! I had to get a culture today to see if I have Group B Strep, I hope I don't but I was told a lot of pregnant women get it so I'm not too worried. I'm measuring 34, and heartbeat was in the 140's.

Oh and I was having LOTS of contractions and my doctor felt them all! He saw how much pain I was in.

OK...so here is the good news...I'm already 1cm dilated and 50% effaced! Yup...I couldn't believe it either! My Dr. said is ready to come out now! He put me on bed rest for the next 2 weeks because I had 4 contractions within 20 minutes! He was very worried! I asked him about getting induced and he said he induces at 39 weeks but told me I'm probably going to go into labor way before then LOL.

He said after my 2 weeks bed rest if I go into labor he will let me! So, I'm hoping and praying I do!

My next appointment is May 13th, the day after my birthday! Let's hope I progress more from now until then. I'm hoping to be 100% effaced and at least 3cm LOL...I know it's asking for a lot but he REALLY needs to come out. The pain is unbearable!
