How come... Warning TMI
After BD i swear whatever goes inside me just comes right out. LOL even after laying with hips propped up on a pillow? Is this a bad thing or normal.

I think leakage is pretty normal. You can ask DH to stay inside a few seconds afterwards and then prop your hips up. I also use Instead Cups after BD to keep all the swimmers close to the cervix. HTH!

It is normal. What needs to get up there goes into the cervix right after ejaculation, and whatever is in there doesn't really come out.

I asked this a while back and everyone assured me it was normal. I guess so because I got my BFP that same month.
Definitely have him try to stay there for a minute after he's done, and prop those hips for a little bit and you should be fine!!!

i think its normal to EXCEPT i realized that when i "O", it doesnt come out as quickly - I guess since the cervix is "open"??

I had my first IUI yest and second today, yesterday even w/ it being placed--I still had "leakage", today, not so much. I think it's normal.

Leakage is normal, so do not worry about it. Figure what is being released during an ejaculation is not limited to sperm - a great deal of sperm is made up of exocrine gland fluids as well.

The reason it does not come out as quickly is because the contractions of the cervix is pushing the semen into the uterus.

Actually with an IUI, its not the sperm leaking out - the sperm is up in your uterus and it can't get out of there.
When the procedure is done, it loosens up CM and thats the "leakage" you feel.

I swear I leaked more than any woman on the planet. Excluding that, doctors weren't sure if I'd ever get PG because of my own issues. We now have an 8 month old.
