Calculating my O date
I just went off BCP in April. This morning, 34 days later I got my period. How can I calculate my O date for this cycle? Is it a lost cause these first few months, trying to calculate? I want to use an online calculator but don't know what length I should put for my cycle. Pre- BCP I was super regular 28 days.

If you didn't use any ovulation predictor sticks and/or didn't temp, there really isn't any way to tell when you ovulated - or even IF you ovulated.
Most luteal phases (the time between when you O and your period) are about 12-16 days long. You can kind of estimate that you might have ovulated around day 20 based on the fact that the textbook LP is 14 days.
did you notice any cervical mucus during your cycle? You should get a copy of the book Taking Charge of Your Fertility by Toni Wechsler - it describes everything having to do with your cycle and is really informative.

Thanks for your advice! I will definitely check out that book! I'm new at this so I'm trying to get everything right! Last month I could tell when I did b/c of the EWCM, and b/c of what I've read on here.
When do you think I will ovulate this new cycle (for May)?

It depends for each person, the first three months off of BCP are usually irregular. My first cylce off BC was 60 days & my second cycle was 25 days.. so you can never really tell.

EWCM is definitely a good sign and you should always BD when you see it. But it doesn't always mean you've ovuated. I tend to get it a few days before I O and by the time I O, it's already dried up.
Like ETAB says, it's different for everyone and it could take a while for your cycles to settle down after coming of BCP, so it's really hard to predict this early on. Basically you need to watch what the signs are in your body - I would start to look out for them around day 12 or so. You might want to try OPKs this month.
