DH wants to TTC but. . .
I'm not sure I'm ready.
He doesn't understand why, and is being very persistant. I don't think he realizes how much having a baby changes things.
Anyone else go through this? Isn't it usually the woman who gets baby fever?

I Know what you mean I got married in sept of 06 and months before we said we would start right away....then when the wedding got closer i got scared and i asked if we could wait a while....but he was definatley ready to start

We are exactly the opposite...I am ready to start TTC and DH wants to wait a while but we had a big talk and we decided to wait and see what happens in the next few months before we start to try seriously.

I went through the same thing!!! And, yes, it does seem like it is the woman who gets baby fever and the man who doesn't!
I was very amibivalent about when I wanted to start TTC but I knew that I was not ready when DH was first ready. I am happy that I waited.
I don't have much advice except that you should wait for when you are ready
