How long
will you TTC unsuccessfully before going to the Dr.? This is only month #2 for us but I was just curious.

I knew right away it was going to be challenging for us, so I went to my OB pretty shortly after coming off of BCP. I started seeing the RE about a year later.

I don't know yet, this is our 2nd month. Some people say we should only try for 6 months since I'm 34. I'm really not sure yet.

We've been trying for 6 months, and I had one miscarriage early on. I'm 33, and just made and appointment with the doctor. I don't know if he'll say we're ready for the next step (whatever that may be), but I want to see what he has to say.

We started TTC in Jan and I went to see my gyn in late Feb when I noticed the my period was not coming once I got off the BCP. She sent me for testing right away. I went as far as I could under the guidence of my gyn but now I will be taking Clomid and need to be monitered a lot closer than my gyn can provide so now I will start seeing an RE. My first appoinment is 4/30.
