i am actually surprised - my favorite drink at DD is the same price as my favorite drink at SB. they can't be that overpriced, then - or maybe they both are

i agree - a latte at DD is just as much as starbucks. and the starbucks lattes taste wayyy better

So true. It's now Dunkin Donuts that's ridiculously overpriced.
Their lattes taste watered down. You don't even taste espresso in them.
Granted Dunkin DONUTS are awesome, and I am sure whoever Starbucks decides to bring in for donuts won't be able to match DD's donuts.
But Starbucks espresso and espresso drinks taste SIGNIFICANTLY better than DD.

they've had donuts before though.
I've seen glazed and old fasioned there.
during the holidays they've had pumpkin ones, or mint chocolate.

Yeah that's just some generic donuts they have. But apparently this donut company they are buying is pretty big. Like Krispy Kreme or something, so I guess they are just trying to market "the name".

Last year they gave away a free dup of coffee or something in March, so we are due for a freeby of some kind.

I am not a fan of dunkin donuts, donuts. They often repeat on me. and not in a good way. Although if I have a donut from stop and shop, it doesn't bother me.

I believe they brought back the CEO who wanted to get a cup of coffee back down to $1. Maybe that's the big news?
I hate DD coffee drinks and I would rather pay the slightly higher prices at Starbucks for quality made drinks. IMO, DD employees don't know how to make coffee or coffee drinks and DD doesn't put any effort into teaching their employees.

They closed down the starbucks in Merrick, on Merrick road for a couple weeks to redo it.
And the new Layout is DUMB!!!!
It is sooo narrow when you walk in, and they have these sharp corian countertops that you can bang into so easy
i have never seen such a narrow pass through, it is by far the dumbest layout of starbucks i have ever seen.

I miss the Christmas drinks. Donuts don't do it for me....
They have a petite vanilla scone now that I love! It's tiny and probably about 300 calories

It sickens me to even call it a latte. it is swill to me.
DD's isn't much better either.

is it good? lol my husband refuses to try it becaue he had been going to that starbucks since HS and then it closed down.
apparently they are reopening the starbucks in the shopping center across the street where the key foods used to be.... we'll see.
