when did you have to stop wearing your rings?

I have a question for all the 2nd and 3rd trimester moms, and moms who are pregnant again.....

did you have take off your rings? If so, when?

call me wierd, but I'm fine walking around like a beached whale. I just dread 2 imminent things..... granny ankle, and the day I can no longer wear my rings.

please tell me when you started down that swollen path....... thanks!

wow.. i havent even thought about that at least i would only have to part with my band.. i dont wear my E-ring often

Around a week & a half ago, so just past 31 weeks. I was really sad. I just started wearing my wedding band on a chain around my neck.

At 27 weeks I stopped wearing them. They still fit but I am afraid of having them get too tight; a coworker had to have her rings cut off and I won't forget how much that upset her so I just don't wear them.

I stopped wearing my rings about 2 weeks ago at about 33-34 weeks.

My cankles came in about 2 weeks before that.

Now I look like I have elephant legs. It's lovely.

I never had to stop wearing them with DS #1 and so far with this pregnancy at 30 weeks I still have them on.

Mine are still loose at 30+ wks. If I have to take them off I plan on wearing my wedding band on a chain around my neck.

Probably about 28 weeks or so. My fingers were swelling and I didn't want to not be able to get it off.

Im 17wks and my fingers were swelling up the other day but I think thats cause I had a lot of sodium. Ill be waiting a bit longer to really take them off.

I took them off at 24 weeks. Didn't want to take any chances.

Went on ebay and bought a sterling silver plain band 2 sizes too big for $20 so at least I'd have something on my finger.

I stopped wearing my e-ring around 12 weeks, I still wear my wedding band, but I m starting to have that muffin top look with it im 32 weeks

With DS I stopped at 38 weeks and with DD until I went into labor so 40 weeks

I'm hoping to go as long as possible.... I should probably stop drinking so much V8 (yummy tomato goodness, but also a stunning amount of sodium!)

The cankles thing has me worried too. If I'm on vacation and walking a lot each day, I get cankles.... and I'm not even preggo!

I swear my ankles will swell up like water balloons...

I made it to 37 weeks. I would have points during the day from about 33 weeks were I needed to switch to my pinky but most of the day I could wear them normally. Now I keep them on my pinky finger at all times...

My dh was so cute, he knew i was upset that i couldnt wear my band anymore... We were at the dollar store one day and he got me a 25 cents ring from the machine.. i wore it everyday.. even giving birth..

I was about 33-34 weeks when I had to take off my e-ring and 37 weeks when my wedding band didn't fit.

I still wear mine with no issues, I'm 32 weeks.

With Josh I had to take them off at around 30 weeks. My fingers never fully shrunk down though and my fingers are already starting to look like snausages. Im sure they will have to come off even sooner.

I haven't stopped yet. The summer should prove to be interesting though.

ETA: I know how you feel (OP). I was really sad when I realized I could no longer wear my rings.

I went out and purchased a really cheap temporary wedding band.

i didn't have to stop wearing my rings until i was in my 9th month

Last pregnancy I didn't have to stop wearing my wedding rings or college ring. So far this pregnancy my wedding rings still fit but my college ring is to tight. I am heavier this go around since I wasn't back to my norm after the last time and these bebes are very close in age, so I hope I can wear my rings throughout but we shall see.
