I just don't get it
If you get + OPK, have EWCM or use preseed and your period is like clockwork AND you BD on the right days why don't you get pregnant?
Ugh... This is so frustrating!!!!!

It's just probability. I know that it's SO frustrating but hopefully it will happen for you soon. Just try and stay positive. Lots and lots of luck to you next cycle!!

There are SO many things that need to happen to get that BFP.
Even if your timing is PERFECT, remember that both the egg and the sperm need to be perfect--with such a large number of sperm being produced, there's bound to be more than a few that aren't suitable for conception.  Also, the egg is only viable for 12-24 hours after ovulation.
Even if the egg is fertilized, and starts dividing, it still needs to implant. If implantation doesn't occur, or it occurs but doesn't stick, pregnancy won't happen then, either.
I read something recently that said that, even if timing and conditions are perfect, pregnancy still only has a 1 in 5 chance of occurring.
Pregnancy really IS a miracle every time it happens.
ETA: I've had to learn A LOT about this kind of stuff, since I am also dealing with infertility issues.

It just doesn't make sense. After trying for 7 months, I had to travel this month without DH when I was supposed to be ovulating. I knew for sure this month was out......But it ended up being the month I got my BFP.....

I have questioned it over & over again but like above posters have said, no matter how much you do right, there are so many other factors that must be perfect!!! I know it is furstrating bc there are many that just seem to ALWAYS get it right!

Your body is not a machine. I know how frusterating this is b/c it makes sense that if your body is producing all the right signals, it should eventually be happeining.
Unfortunately, our bodies are not machines. Everyone is a little bit different.
My dr. told me that even if you ovulate normally, BD on the right times, you still only have a 20% chance of it working, which is why it often takes a while to happen.....some longer than others. Just keep at it...I wish that I had an answer for you to take this frustration away....I don't but I can do is whish you the best give you lots of

I agree…it is SO frustrating. It’s amazing to think of all the years of trying NOT to get PG and how worried we would be if AF was even a day late….if we knew then what we know now….how difficult it really is. …I think what is most frustrating about it is realizing how truly out of our control something that is happening inside OUR OWN BODY really is…..

I am with you on this, it does get frustrating but you have to try really hard not to get so stressed about it. I know its easier said and done. But I am learning to not to stress alot HTH. Our month will come soon.
