Why must friends make plans with short notice!
I cannot organize child care with a few hours notice! DH stays home with the twins on Fridays and I get an email that the girls are all meeting for dinner tonight. I don't want to seem like I am stubborn and I can really use some girl time but people without children just don't get it!

I say go... Dh can handle the babies for a couple more hours.

That is one of my biggest pet peeves, even before children. I hate when people send out invitations or invite you somewhere with only a few days notice...and I'm not talking a casual coffee night out, but a 30th birthday party or engagement party!

Going! DH was agreeable and I am psyched! It helped that the babies took a long nap today!
