Question about O
Yesterday I knew I was ovulating..pain on the right side and I look an OPK.
DH pooped out on me..
today I took an OPK and I'm not anymore..wow, a few hrs difference.
The question is, when I'm feeling that pain, at what point am I at? What is the sequence of the egg dropping?
Am I really ovulating a day or two before? Is it only a 12 hr window?
I guess I'm lucky I have the pain to guide me..
...I was really fertile last night I guess..

It's best to BD before ovulation but I would def. BD today. There is a chance the egg is still alive.

in an optimal environment, sperm can live from 24-48 hours, and some as long as 5 days. the egg only lives for 12-24 hours after ovulation. a negative OPK today after a positive OPK yesterday just means that you already had your LH surge (yesterday) - and that you will most likely O today or tomorrow. a negative OPK doesn't necessarily mean that you O'd already. good luck!!
