How does she seem otherwise? Is she cranky? Sometimes drink less when there ears are bothering them or their gums....Sometimes they just vary. Hope all is okay.

Caden will usually eat less when he isnt feeling 100%...it could be just a little cold.

Re: Sofia is taking less formula
She might have been going thru a growth spurt. DD got up to 7-8 oz at one point, but is now back to 4-6....as long as she is gaining weight she is fine.

I wouldn't worry too much unless it really persists. Maybe she is just too busy with her hands.

Re: Sofia is taking less formula
I thought DS was teething, his doctor says no, but I still wonder if he is and it's just not visible yet. When he is like this, he doesn't eat that much. He usually makes up for it the next day.
Has she been eating very little for quite awhile, or just a couple days? If it's recent, I wouldn't worry.

Re: Sofia is taking less formula
I wouldn't worry about it if she seems ok otherwise, especially if she is teething, my DD went through that few times, when she would just not eat as much, she is 6 mo.

Re: Sofia is taking less formula
As long as she is gaining weight regularly, I wouldn't worry about it.
Next time you have a check up, the doctor will tell you whether or not her weight gain is up to par.

Re: Sofia is taking less formula
I think that if she seems normal and starts eating more in a couple days, then there's nothing to worry about.
Sometimes they just aren't as hungry. I still go through this with my DD. Some days it seems like she hardly eats a thing but she's fine otherwise. And her appetite bounces back in a couple days.
Is she sleeping a lot?
I was told that when they are sleeping a lot & eating less, their brains are growing. And when they eat a lot, their bodies are growing. It's just a positive way of looking at their appetite fluctuations.
