i lost my daddy
I lost my Daddy on March 6th. I feel like it is a bad dream... I feel like nothing will ever be happy again... Will this ever get better??

i lost my mom 12 years ago. and i used to feel the same exact way as you. I didnt think anything would make me happy again. or any special occasion would even count. But you will see. You will find joys in so many things. Just knowing he is watching down on you and enjoying wathing you be happy you will find happiness again. fm me if you ever want to talk.

When my dad passed 6 months ago I felt like a time would never come that every thought, every moment would not be punctuated by thoughts his death. While by no means is the pain gone, but it does get easier. A part of your life will never be the same, but soon you will wake up in the morning and your first thought will not be his death.
You learn that life will now never be the same and you do your best to make everyday the best it can be realizing that is how your dad would want it.

thank you all. it's just still so unbelievable to me that i won't be able to ask him for advice, talk to him, hug him, have fun with him, etc.... it seems so unfair!

I know how you feel. I feel like that with my mom no longer around, I just want to ask her advice about raising my boys.

Im so sorry for your loss.. I lost my Mom 10 months ago to Lung Cancer. And now that I am pg it makes it even harder. It does get easier it just takes some time.

I lost my dad on the same day, four weeks ago tonight. It still feels surreal. If you need to talk FM me. I know what you are going through right now, it svcks!!!

Im sorry. I have lost a parent and all i can say is it never stops hurting, it does get better, but just b/c you learn to cope. But the pain for me that is, is still there just as strong, but its easier to deal with it.
