a line is a line...or is it?
wow, its been a long time since i posted on this board. DD actually turns 1 today.
i thought my period was supposed to come yesterday and it didn't so this morning i took a test. There was a faint line, but with the way mine and DH's schedule was, i really didn't think there was a chance of getting pregnant this month.
did anyone else ever get a faint line that ended up being nothing?

I think this is the rule:
A line is a line.... IF it shows up within the time frame listed in the instructions (e.g., 3 minutes).
As long as yours did... I'd say CONGRATS!

wow!! yes a line, no matter how faint, is definitely a line... did you use FMU? test again tomorrow, it should be darker - congrats!!!

Not necessarily...if you used a dollar test or factplus, they are known for evaporation lines....it has happened to me in the past with those 2 tests took a FRER and it was negative....
A line is a line only when it comes up within 3 minutes...any line that takes longer to develop is an evaporation line (unless you are testing before AF is due and the hormones are low)...since you are a day late you should get a true positive by now.....
But in your case I think a congratulations might be in order! I would use a digital or a FRER to confirm! GL!!

Like PP stated before, as long as you saw the line within the time frame, no more than 5 minutes, then it's a BFP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
