St. Joseph Aspirin?
I had a m/c & a D&C two weeks ago and yesterday was my post-op appointment. The doctor said that everything with my exam was fine, and the results from the pathology lab were fine (Thank god ). So we started discussing the plans for TTC moving forward and what i can possibly do to try and minimize my chances at another miscarriage. He told me to wait two cycles (which i think i will), to take my daily prenatal vitamin and also a St. Joseph aspirin. He also mentioned he'd leave it up to me whether or not i'd like to try using a progesterone supplement but I'm going to wait on that for now. So, of course, with my head spinning with all sorts of information...he asks me if i have any questions and I say NO like a fool and i leave. As soon as i hit the parking lot I'm like "why didn't I ask that?" and as i'm driving home I think of 3 other questions I should have asked. GRRRRRR!!!!!!! Sorry so long...but does anyone know why a St. Joseph aspirin would be recommended? Thanks! HA - oh, and PS - while i'm sitting there in the stirrups feeling oh SO sexy it dawns on me i'm wearing my very fashionable halloween socks. Yes, in March. I put them on yesterday morning as i was wearing high boots, so who's going to see my socks??! Of course I'm laying there and he says, "I think you're ready for the wrong holiday..." so YES, i felt like a giant weener...

Re: St. Joseph Aspirin?
I don't know about the St. Joseph asprin, but I was actually going to ask my RE about taking baby asprin the next cycle because of my M/C. I have read that it can help with implantation and prevent clots.
The progesterone you would take during the 2ww, not your whole cycle.
Thats funny about the socks. I am sure he didnt even notice!

Yep-also improves blood flow to the uterus as a result. This helps placental attachment. I would take progesterone-can't hurt..

Re: St. Joseph Aspirin?
You might also want to take red rasberry leaves (pills). My OB/GYN~midwife recommends them. It's for overall uterine health.
It also comes in a tea, but I do not like it, so I take the pills.
