What are your thoughts on this...
I have been using the saliva monitor and OPK this cycle, and having sex every other day since CD13.
I was just away this weekend, so our schedule was thrown a little off.
Yesterday, was CD24 and according to my saliva monitor (because I saw all ferning on the results), I ovulated. It was also the day we flew home and we had a very hard time trying to find the time to BD. So, we did when we got home at about 12 50 AM (Perhaps my body still thought it was 11 50). We did not BD the day before, because it was an "off" day. I am worried because we waited so late in the day to BD on my ovulation day. Is that ok? I mean, nothing could help it-- we had no time.
Also, should we skip today, or BD again today because ovulation was yesterday?

i think as long as youve been BDing every other day - its ok
i mean, yesterday would have been good but i would def. BD today

Thanks-- we did BD yesterday, it was just last night.
We tried to have a quickie before we left for the airport, but my 2 year old niece kept banging on the bedroom door!

Sperm can live up to 5 days, so you should be fine. No harm in BDing today too

I'm sure you're good. I'm pretty sure the saliva monitor tells you whne you are most fertile which is before O. It si not like an OPK where you can say you will O 12-36 hours later

Thanks-- let me ask you since you are like the TTC Yogi, the instructions say that when you see the ferns, you are ovulating. Then it says you should have sex within 24 to 36 hours after seeing it. So, which day can I count as ovulation-- do you know?
I am a little upset, because now that I know that I am in fact ovulating, and really know when it's happening-- because of a long day of travel, delays and getting home so late I feel like we really missed an opportunity. When DH gets home from work we will BD again, but I feel like that's too late and I missed the crucial time.

Just so you know- when I got pg with DD, we only BDed TWO days prior to O. We were living apart at the time and only seeing each other once or twice a week (work circumstances).
I know for a fact it was 2 days because I was charting my temps and was able to confirm O.
I think you'll be fine.....
