Down in the dumps today- CD 1

Its not like I didn't expect AF but I am so sad and depressed today. I hate feeling resentful everytime someone tells me they are pg. I hate how I feel when people tell me they didn't know they were pg for 8 weeks or it was a surprise. I hate how we are going to have to spend all of our savings and tax refund for IVF so I can pump tons of drugs into my body and pray that we get on the right side of the odds and actually get pg. Most of all I hate how sad and desparate I feel this first cycle day it really *****.

I know how feel....I often feel the same way. But we can't lose hope that it will happen one day. I know its easier said than done

I think you summed up very nicely how many of us feel, including myself. You are not alone and I definitely have those down in the dumps days when I think it is never going to happen. Try to stay positive, it will happen!

I'm so sorry you're feeling down. It's a terrible feeling knowing that we have to put ourselves through he ll, emotionally, physically and financially while others seem to get pregnant so easily.

Just know we're there with you, and though it isn't much help, its gotten me through some pretty tough times.

thanks girls. I am so glad I found you all. I have no one IRL, including DH who really understands. No one else I know has even had trouble getting pg. I get so sick of hearing "relax" "it will happen" "are you SURE you need ivf" It just really wears on me.

You summed it up for me too. But, at least we all are going through it together and that REALLY helps. You are not the only one and you just need to hang in there. I always find that I am a mess on CD1 and then a few days later I feel better and then I realize that the hormones on CD1 give it a catch 22. You will feel better, you have to.
