News Story on Channel 7
I don't know if this effects anyone's commute. They are saying that the path, Subways to the Bronx, NJ transit and LIRR (to the ferry) may be effected as well due to Metro North passengers using alternative routes. The whole thing is shut down.

on newsday.com they say that the metro north riders should take the subway to stops in the bronx and pick up the trains there.
Either way, this stinks for Metro North riders. It's a nightmare commute home.
