Off BCP and is it normal to....
experience a different mood? I got AF on Fri and all wkd and all today, i have like a "depressing" mood. I dont feel like myself at all.
We had dinner at my parents last night w/ DHs parents and both my mom and MIL (separately) asked me today if i was ok bc i didnt seem normal yesterday.

I think it's definitely possible because BCP effects your hormones which can alter your moods.
Did you just recently go off BC? I went off it in the fall and it took me a while to re-learn my body; different moods, PMS symptoms etc. It's not fun at all but I feel so much better being off of them after 8 long years.

I had major mood swings when I went off birth control. I think it is probably normal.

I went off mid-January. I was on for 2 yrs. Before that i had LOOOONG cycles (about 40 days sometimes) and i was surprised that this cycle was only 31 days. I HOPE it stays this way.
I hope i brighten up soon

I hope for your sake they stay on the shorter side too. It's been driving me crazy. For the first 2 months off BC mine were like that as well then they jumped to approx 40 days then 60 days and now the past few months back to around 34/35 days. It's soooo frustrating!!!!!

When you 1st went on the BCP, did it make you depressed/moddy/more or less emotional? If so, it could now just be your body adjusting back. Either way, hormones are involved, and when that happens...well there's bound to be some emotion.
