yea i agree ... it def has to do with Desmond and the radiation of the hatch blowing up.. thats the only conclusion i had with that episode... i was really LOSt

I haven't wrapped my head around this episode. The time travel theory definitely seems possible, but I'm still holding out hope of a multiple parallel universe thingie.

Well the time travel explains why Desmond always knew what was going to happen ahead of time. I'm starting to think the island is like the Bermuda Triangle. Who was the guy that was in the sick bay with them?

This season is AMAZING!!!
I was crying when he was on the phone.
That was also very interesting with Penny's father buying the ship's log from the Black Rock- the ship on our island.
Totally random, the next lot in the auction was for personal items from Charles Dickens- that's Desmond's fav. author.
Just throwing that out there.

Yup, Faraday said he could either be exposed to radiation or electromagnetism (hello, electromagnetic hatch that exploded while Desmond was IN it!).
Time travel theory seems to be panning out, but the way they kept asking him what year it was... wouldn't they know? Is it completely random what year you go back to if you have an electromagnetic glitch like Desmond & the comm guy, or do the scientists on the boat just not know enough about the time machine yet?
Do you think Faraday will start having problems too since he was exposed to radiation in his lab back in 1996? He had that xray vest on, but nothing on the rest of his body...

awesome episode!
I definitely think the storm they flew through was a time/ space continuum break. That would explain the random effect- the missile was something like 30 minutes late, but the helicopter arrived at the ship hours late. It is strange that the effect would continue though- outside of the storm...
Definitely very Bermuda Triangle.
I like it- finally some semblance of an answer!

Also if you have the Verizon tv you get an enhanced version(which you can get online starting the night after the ep aires) which gives little tidbits of info.
