A year and a half...I started my first teaching job here in NJ in the 2006-07 school year.
I love it but I keep thinking- OMG I'll be doing this til I'm in my 60's!!! Retirement seems sooooo far away!! I guess this is the first time I've had a job where I know I'm gonna be there for the long haul. Very strange feeling.

Almost a year full time, but I was part time before that for 3-4 years.
Before that I was a freelance theatre professional (Stage manager and director) for about a year, but I needed more job security.
