So their story is there were 8 survivors of the crash- but they are the Oceanic 6 - so what did they tell pp happen to the other two?
And did anyone catch that short term memory loss thing with Fagarity?

but how could she convince the world he is hers. They know she was not PG when she was arrested. There is a 9 month gap somewhere.
I thought maybe she could say that aaron was born and then his mother died, but jack said on the stand that only 8 survived and they tried to save the other 2 but they died. Sounded like pretty soon after the crash....
Oh wait, maybe she stopped him on the stand because he was going to say something about how her son was born, like claire went into labor and died during delivery and Kate has raised him....

Maybe it has something to do with the time warp effect of the island? I think everyone believes that Aaron is really Kate's biological baby. And I don't believe Claire would have given up Aaron willingly. I think someone either took him away from her or she died. I seriously got goosebumps when Kate called the baby Aaron.

Is it possible that eight made it onto the helicopter, but only six made it off the island? Perhaps the helicopter crashed?

I think the 6 does NOT include Aaron...actually I know it doesnt include him nor Ben.
as far as the "8"..Im thinking Claire is one of them and dies and for some reason I think Sawyer is the other one ?
Who knows. I try not to ever guess anything b/c Its just too crazy to even try to figure it out.

Probably Bernard and the Misses make up the 8. I am sure the ones on the beach are considered the ones who survived and those with Locke are "dead" but really back on the island

Does anybody remember from last season or maybe even the season before a flash forward and Jack is telling Kate that they have to go back and then they are talking about a funeral? Kate won't go and I think Jack goes (if I'm remembering correctly. This is the problem with this show...soooo long between seasons you forget...kinda like the sopranos). I think it's Sawyer's funeral. Question is, was this before or after Kate's trial?
