who did you go to? they used to have amazing artists there and I went there recently. trashy people work there, cursing like every other second saying some raunchy things. plus there's an artist there I used to work with and he's pretty terrible. I'm thinking since my artist now lives in Atlanta and my other one is impossible to book some time with, I'm gonna go to kings avenue

not places on your body. I mean tattoo shops. I pretty much know where to go to get tattooed (hence why I have great tattoos  ) I was just curious where everyone else gets them done

I got my first tat from Joe Capobianco at Lotus in Sayville - he has since moved to New Hampshire.
Then I went to Dana at House of Colour in Bayshore and apparently she is no longer there...but the other artists there are awesome also.

The artist Lou from Cliff's in Rocky Point opened up his own shop there. He is amazing!

eh I'd stay away from tattoo lou's and most of cliff's. they're "chains" and for the most part, not that great. I hate to see people not research tattoo artists and shops and just get something off the wall because they were in the mood to. too many people I know have so many tattoos they regret.

Sorry but I disagree. Some great artists work(ed) at Lous and Cliffs. You of course should research every artist and not just go to "who is available" but I think it is unfair to those who work at the "chain shops" to pigeonhole them.

I'm just saying from tattoos I've seen at tattoo lou's, it wasnt great. cliffs is alot better, but i feel there are 100 times better shops to go to.

Its fine, I like it- its still bright 8 years later. I have no idea who did it.
