where do you get your taxes done?
i never did it with out my uncle before but i can't wait till the end of next month. so where do you get them done? how much does it cost? thanks

R & G Brenner in Brooklyn. I know it is a hike for me, but she (our accountant there) specialises in people who work on commission.

I use TurboTax. It's super-easy and if you buy the premier it will walk you though looking for deductions.

We go to a CPA in Port Jeff. My DH is self-employeed so it's best for us to have a professional do them.
As for cost, I'm not sure exactly but I know it's in the hundreds.

We use an accountant in CI, but unfortunately, he's usually booked immediately after the new year, so I can't rec him.
We pay around $300 per return but it is definately worth it.

If I told you I'd have to kill you  We have to wait like 6 weeks for an appointment but he's AWESOME!
He does our taxies for like $25 bucks since DH is a suffolk county employee and it is supplemented.
