How do you feel about strip clubs?
Just wanted to know how you feel about it. I know everyones take is different.

Not a fan, and when I was younger, I used to get upset if I knew that DH (then FH) went to one for a bachelor party. Not that I didn't trust him, but I just didn't like the idea. Now, I'm accepting of him going. I understand it's part of the guys night out thing, and honestly, he doesn't even really like going. He's not comfortable there.
I have never been to a female strip club. For my friend's bachelorette party, we started at Lucky Cheng's, and then went upstairs to the male revue, which was way more "hands-on" then I expected. I no longer have any right to complain about him going to a strip club!

I'm just curious. I have never been to see male dancers--only female. I have no problem going there while some of my friends feel incredibly uncomfortable.

I've always felt them to be degrading to women and even more so now since I have a daughter.
Kevin - you know I love you, and I know what you mean as a father to a daughter, but I feel that some of them really aren't degrading at all - and actually, really seem to give women the upper hand in a lot of ways!

Like I said to dh--even if I had the body to be a stripper I could never do it.
I know plenty of strippers and some of my good friends are so I would never knock them for what they do. the money is absolutely there! I'm all for it..for them. I just couldn't bring myself to do it.
It kills me to see older men basically drooling over some girl--and he has a wedding ring on.

I feel that they are degrding to women and IMO they perpetuate the attitude that women's bodies are worthless and cheap. I think it degrades the sanctity of the body for women AND men. I wouldn't be caught dead in one and neither would my DH.
I know that some women choose to work in strip clubs, but i would think the majority of them are there because they have no other choice... or they are supporting a drug problem or other addiction.
